«O bruising fear! Lo! Thou art the multitudes' rebellious buttocks.» -Random Shakespeare Dialogue Generator

Pasado y futuro, coexisten.»

err∞r (of pentacles). ≋ In My book of time there is a deck of 22 cards, all of them altered versions from the II of pentacles of the Rider-Waite Tarot; illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith aka Pixie and distorted by @thelastdeck Twitter bot compression artifacts. This lemniscate that came from the loop, will be read with wool and hoses: «Our thoughts and actions have consequences that can be infinite.» ≋ A finite set of patterns is the Discreet Cosine Transform (DCT), or macroblocks that can also be described as a set of 64 glyphs which make up the JPEG image. This mathematical technique is employed to compress the amount of data needed to transport, store and present the image. If an image is compressed correctly, its macroblocks become «invisible»; a resolution determines what is read and what is not. And Rosa Menkman has created a system that encrypts a message hidden on the surface of the image by turning glyphs into a font, using the aesthetics of JPEG macroblocks to mask its secret message as error. ≋ Recently, I got stuck in a loop dream in which characters from different paintings appeared; portrayed one by one, like a slide show, the eyes pointing in one direction so the next face appeared staring back at the one that followed —visual ping pong on canvas—, until a dog showed up with its gaze pointing at the first character, and then it all started again. I noticed the loop in the second round because of the dog in black and white that I had already «seen», and it looked similar to the favorite poodle (and monkey) belonging to Thomas Osborne, 4th Duke of Leeds, painted by John Wootton in the 18th Century. Another John, Berger, peeks his face through the hole in the door: «In a dream, nothing is insignificant. We can dream of terror but never of the absurd. When we dream, we have the sensation that what is happening and what will happen has already been decided. Past and future, coexist.»
